A combination of colors of the flag of Zimbabwe and their Highlanders Football Club which is one of the big-gest, most successful teams from Zimbabwe.

The usage of black and white is synonymous with the Ndebele culture and their team from Bulawayo. Red rep-resents the blood of their forefathers. The flowers on the side represent the “Flame Lily”  while the green feathers and fascinator symbolize growth, that Zimbabwe will be the bread basket of the African continent again. The red is the blood of their fathers that is always on their minds. The rest of the designs show that Zimbabwe is a growing black nation. An ode to their roots and heritage.

Proudly worn by Samantha Tshuma, Miss Zimbabwe 2010; Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2015. Belia Zibowa is a plus size model from Zimbabwe and Mithi Aquino-Thomas is filipino and an adopted daughter of Zimbabwe. Designer Yvette Ndaba is from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. She came to the U.S. for her fashion debut during the John Ablaza Couture & Culture Fashion Gala in New York.
