The SAND Spring/Summer 2018 collection
Sand Copenhagen presents an exciting journey around the world lead by the returning model from their 2017 Campaign, Alain-Fabien Delon. Photographed by Rene Dupont and styled by Cynthia Lawrence-John.
THE KEY PIECES
- The knitted polo inspired of the sixties
- Blazers are half lined with pointing dandy lapels
- Soft as a glove suede jacket in light desert colors
- The cool suit in summer check
- The printed polo pique with motif prints
- The super light and comfortable ‘shirt blazer’, constructed with minimal interlining
THE COLORS
- Spicy colours of Marrakesh
- Soft water colours of Miami
- Light colours of Scandinavia
- Mediterranean shades of blue
- Army and brownish hues of sand colors of the desert
THE FABRICS
- Boast structures as summer tweed with granulate surfaces
- Checks in all sizes in fresh colorations
- Linen is back, either in pure clean weaves or mixed for lightness with cool wool
- Knit in new mélange combos as jaspé and mouline
- Shirt prints are developed in the spirit of eccentric with humor, irony and freedom
- Plains with micro shadow structures in delicate light colors
